Paul Dolby, AKA Seiji, is a member of West London's broken beat production collective Bugz in the Attic. He was one of the early innovators of the genre known as "broken beat" or "nu jazz".

During the early 1990s, while in his mid-teens, Dolby discovered house music and became acquainted with the music of Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Photek and 4_Hero. He began producing his own tracks a few years later. Before long he hooked up with Orin Walters (Afronaught) and helped instigate Bugz in the Attic, a production/remix crew that became synonymous with the term broken beat. As Seiji, Dolby has remixed Micatone, P'taah, Joakim Lone Octet, and Mark de Clive-Lowe. In 2002, Bitasweet compiled some of those remixes for Remixes. Since the late 1990s, Seiji has also released his own productions for Reinforced and 2000 Black, in addition to lending his cello skills to records made by several of his peers.

As one of the original members of Bugzintheattic, Alex Phountzi has spent the last few years DJing all over the world (from the Co-op in London to the Zoukout in Singapore!) both as part of the Bugz and also on his own. He is currently working in the studio on new material under his own name as well as for his Neon Phusion collaboration project (with Orin Walters and Kaidi Tatham) and for the forthcoming Bugzintheattic artist album on V2 records. All in all Alex is a busy boy at the moment and he has lots of new material to be playing out at any one time. With all this going on he is one artist whose profile is always at the forefront of the music media press. Recent club / festival appearances for alex have included; Ministry of Sound (London) / Co-op-Plastic People (London) / Custard Factory / Medicine Bar (Birmingham) / Paradiso (Amsterdam) / Avalon (L.A) / Zoukout Festival (Singapore) / Moods (Zurich)...
Bugz in the Attic is an all-star broken beat crew of DJs and producers based in West London. The collective includes Orin Walters (Afronaught), Paul Dolby (Seiji), Kaidi Tatham, Daz-I-Kue, Alex Phountzi, Cliff Scott, Mark Force, Matt Lord and Mikey Stirton. The group also boasts a label, BitaSweet Records and a studio, The BitaSuite. The group also runs its own Co-Op club night at Plastic People in Shoreditch, London.

Multi-instrumentalist,dj & producer Simbad (aka P.L.Stanislas Renouf) lives in London since 1996 (set up Key Recordings with Fred McQuinn) & makes good music.His incredible range as a producer spans from big band jazz to heavy Jamaican dancehall reggae,bouncy hip-hop to sick broken-beat & techno.
He has worked & played with the likes of Tony Allen,Marque Gilmore,Keziah Jones, Julien Lourau,Luther Allison,Talvin Singh, Bugz in the Attic,Jimpster,Smadj etc...to name a few and is part of 2 live bands: Ntoumos (Bel/Uk/Fr) & Noble Society (Nyc/Usa) & the
Loindubal collective (Fr/Ch). Releasing music as Simbad (his other projects & aka's being Heal, Twitch, Beatkeepers, Dreadpoet, Loose Ensemble, Marathon Men, Mowgly & Les Barons), he travels internationally as an
accomplished dj (was part of the legendary Anokha Sound
System), spinning his blend of Funk, Hip-Hop, Deep House, Broken Beats, Disco, Drum & Bass...As this man puts it himself, "it's just quality booty music...

Simbad is releasing an album for Chilli Funk (under Marathon Men with F.McQuinn) while finishing new material for different labels (working with various rappers,poets & singers) & runs his monthly night in London called "Je Ne Sais Quoi".
